Glidepath Aviation Terms and Conditions

1. Entry Requirements for Aircraft Rental

To rent and operate an aircraft through Glidepath Aviation (GPA), renters must fulfill the following requirements before gaining access to the rental system:

  • Flight Schedule Pro Account: Setup and maintain an active account.
  • Renter’s Insurance: Must carry a minimum of $50K non-owned aircraft physical damage liability coverage.
  • Complete User Profile: Ensure all required fields are filled out in the rental system.
  • Emergency Contact Information: Must provide up-to-date emergency contact details.
  • Profile Photo: A clear photo of the renter’s face is required.
  • Photo ID: A government-issued identification must be uploaded and verified.
  • Pilot Certificate (FAA): A current and valid FAA-issued pilot certificate is required.
  • Medical Certificate / BasicMed (FAA): Proof of a valid FAA Medical Certificate or BasicMed compliance.
  • TSA Citizenship Verification: Required for all U.S. citizens in accordance with TSA regulations.

All renters must comply with FAA regulations, airport rules, and lease agreements at all times. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of rental privileges.

2. Rental Minimums for Overnight Reservations

When reserving a Glidepath Aviation aircraft for an overnight stay, the following rental minimums apply:

  • 2 hours of flight time for each 24-hour scheduled reservation.
  • Requests for deviations from the minimum rental time must be approved in advance by either the Chief Pilot or Director of Operations.

3. Rental Charges

  • All aircraft rentals are billed based on the Hobbs meter reading at the start and end of the flight.
  • Rental fees include the hourly aircraft rate, insurance fees, and applicable taxes.
  • Pilots are responsible for verifying that the Hobbs meter from the previous flight was recorded accurately. Any discrepancies must be reported to GPA immediately.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the flight. a receipt will be emailed to the address on file.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • GPA requires at least 24 hours’ notice for flight cancellations.
  • Cancellations due to weather, illness, emergencies, or medical problems are considered mitigating circumstances, but GPA requests that renters provide notification as soon as possible.
  • No-Shows: If a renter fails to show up for a scheduled flight or does not provide a cancellation notice at least 24 hours prior to the reservation, they will be charged one hour of aircraft time at the applicable rate.

5. Insurance and Deductibles

  • All Glidepath Aviation aircraft are covered under a rental insurance policy.
  • If a renter is found causal in an aircraft damage incident or mishap, they will be responsible for paying 100% of damages up to insured limit.
  • The Bill can be paid via personal renter’s insurance or directly by the individual.
  • Supplemental Aircraft Renter’s Insurance: Renters are required to purchase and maintain a minimum of $50K non-owned aircraft physical damage liability coverage to cover the Damages.

6. Compliance and Responsibility

  • Renters must comply with all FAA regulations, airport rules, and Glidepath Aviation’s lease agreements.
  • Any violation of safety policies, rental agreements, or operational guidelines may result in suspension or termination of rental privileges.

By renting an aircraft from Glidepath Aviation, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply may result in penalties, suspension, or termination of rental privileges.

Glidepath Aviation reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Renters will be notified of any updates or changes.
